“‘When we sing, we gasp - to remember.’"

In January 2009, we gathered outside Kathmandu in the Agricultural training center in Bhaktapur for the start of our workshop on conflict transformation and natural resource conflict. Thirty-plus people from fifteen districts had arrived from across Nepal, members of the Community Forest Users Group, the Water Irrigation Users Groups, and the Community Mediation movement.
