Some years back, after a period of life where I was bedridden from a serious car accident, I re-discovered the art of walking. The gift of an accident tends to remind us of those things we most take for granted, like our legs and the pleasure of a walk with no other purpose than to wander.

While wandering around was initially a form of physical therapy, I began to discover how much walking tended to loosen the shackles of the mind…
