Pádraig Ó Tuama: Hello, welcome to The Corrymeela Podcast. My name is Pádraig Ó Tuama and with me today is John Paul Lederach. John Paul is an American conflict transformation practitioner; he’s an academic and writer and his work has made a huge contribution to the field of peacebuilding over the last few decades. He’s worked internationally with communities who’ve been facing violence in places like Nicaragua, Colombia, Ireland, Somalia, and he’s written and spoken widely on the central role that art plays in conflict transformation. He is Professor Emeritus at the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies at the University of Notre Dame in Indiana in the States. John Paul, you’re very welcome to the The Corrymeela Podcast.
