Through the early decades of my professional peacebuilding I ran continents.

The crises of the world always justified the effort.

They just wouldn’t stop.

And neither did I.

No peacebuilder worth his weight in words could possibly sit still while the fires burned.

In the end, I found my hopping had left my soul in ashes…
