While the archives contain a wide swath of materials around peace studies, John Paul’s early work focused on peace education, particularly in Spain. These writings, many not available in English, looked at both the pedagogy and potential for peace education as part of school and community based social change curricula. At later points, these also included efforts to provide community-based leadership and universities with practical materials, pedagogies, and educational resources that included Central America, Tajikistan, and Spain.
